Maureen has painted an aerial view of the Mount Allan countryside, showing the slopes and dips of the land, with symbolic shapes used in traditional storytelling.

The 'U' shapes represent people, the shapes they leave when sitting on the ground. Some digging sticks, and a hooked boomerang are also depicted.

All dot paintings combine the aerial view of country, with stories relating to the daily activities of hunting and ceremony; but also related to the journeys of the mythical ancestors who created the land.
