Maureen has painted a Fire Dreaming story from her Father's country called Warlukurlongu, where the blue tongue lizard man sent flames after his two sons who had broken the law. The 'U' shapes are the two sons (people are shown as 'U' shapes because that is the track they leave on the ground when sitting) trying to escape the flames, which eventually devour them. An important emu dreaming crosses this same story, and their tracks are also shown.
